Convenient

Author: LinzAy
Pull me into your perfect world
One that's so right to you
I was drawn in by lies
Drawn in by everything you had me believe true
How do I run from someone else
I knew of the lies
I couldn't even run from myself
But I knew I had to see goodbye
Then you held me
Always after that I was content
You knew that was all it would take
I was so convenient
But I've finally pulled away from your world of charades
I was so sick of guessing everything
I've finally drawn myself away from your lies
Drew myself away from the tears the pain would bring
How could I think you'd find someone else
You grew into your lies
You couldn't even find yourself
And I knew I had to see goodbye
And there was no embrace this time
Yet my heart's content
I never knew this was all it would take
To not be so convenient`
