Climbing Just To Fall 2
16 April, 2004
Author: LinzAy
And now these elevator doors have closed
With me inside
Wise choice I suppose
Although I still ended up with pain to hide
It seems forever has passed
And I still haven't reached the lobby floor
Giving me time to rid of the tears
That I don't need anymore
I never had the right to expect anything I suppose
I had words though
And like a fool I believed them
But now I've let them go
The metal doors slowly slide open
And I walk away looking back at you
But you don't seem to care, as always
So, frustrated, I stand there and scream goodbye at you

You find yourself reaching the climax of love, or the peak of love, and then you suddenly fall backwards from where you started from. Good poem on love lost or love ending!! Meridian |
