Tortures Of Your Heart

Answering the calls
Of your dreams unfulfilled
Each day I lay in your wake

Knowing your tortures; seeing you sliced
Watching as the fate hammers you deeper into settle for dreams
You strive yet are never allowed to succeed

Torched your heart struggles
To escape volcanoes heat
Passions once aflame, somewhere lost

Seeking the rainbows
Grasping for hearts made of gold
again and again your trust thrashed

Finally drained of breaths element
Your rest becomes unquiet
Your toils are struggles of dreams lead in vain

I know you my Love
Even more than you know
I wish you could just understand

Your pain is my pain
As your successes are mine too
I hope for life's happy gain

------- Author's Notes -------

People sometimes seem to think they are alone in thier pain. If only they could see that the pain too is felt by others that love them. Though sometimes there is nothing their friends can do but give them a protected place to lean in thier weariness..
