Of Roses And Rainbows

With Tomorrow's uncertain
We hold tighter to hands we know
And promise our hearts that they may hold on
But the heart weeps the tears of change
And it sobs with it freedoms now restrained
We wonder what tomorrow will bring
Be it Love or Loneliness
Happiness of Despair
We make moves to satisfy our hearts
Making Promises of Roses and Rainbows
Knowing each tomorrow brings a new start
Edges change with the falling rains
But with the rain comes new blooms
New dreams... New stars to reach...
New beginnings as well as ends
Tomorrow will be bright...
Though today seems dim
I will cling to the Roses and Rainbows
I will chase our new stars
I will hold tight for the Promise
And wipe back the tears
And the change will be less painful for it
As we go on without fears

Though it seems that time changes all things... for better and for worse.. we find strengths within each of us to survive and go on... We hang on to the good things, though the fears remain of what might be, there is something inside that guides us along.. be it Love or God.. It's there.. And for this we are all stronger... And with change we are all the pilgrims for our own Dreams....Love B |
