Within A Dream

You came to me within a dream, and
whispered into the night. My
eyes filled up with tears, as
you held me oh so tight.
You wrapped your love around me, and
your soul became as mine. Together
we were ONE, if only for tonight.
How i've longed to kiss your lips, and
have your hands embrace my own.
I know this dream won't last forever.
when I awake you will be gone.
