Cool, The Night Air
19 October, 1999
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
The cool night air blows
whipping my hair to my face
Looking to the quieted stars
I can't help but stand there and think
How many times we run to stand still
chasing the moth's light
bashing our-self against the proverbial walls
chasing the facades of the dreams
I watch the light as the moths gather
as they too get blown into their wall
trying so hard to get somewhere
And yet still the cool night air blows
