The Rain Fell
3 November, 1999
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
The rain fell
Over and over it dripped
Each drop dripped upon the ground
Puddles formed
Streams raced from the puddle
As its walls overflowed
Moving closer it went
Closer to the destination
The pool too began to over flow
As the stream met its target
But eventually the rain subsided
And the pool relaxed
The stream quit flowing
The puddle dried up
The ground cracked in dryness
