Full Circle
14 March, 2000
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
The circle once again complete
The fragility of life so close
Freeing our hearts in defeat
The tears of a loss so real
Thankful for what was shared
A life, a love, a friend
Now gone, but forever will remain
Only a heart felt tear away
And someday when my circle ends
I know across the Rainbow Bridge I'll see
The wagging tail of an eager friend
And once again together we will be
------- Author's Notes -------
Though I rarely dedicate my poems this is dedicated to Ron (Disciple) Laurie, and Jake And most of all to the Passing of their trusted, loving, friend Lobo, the German Shepherd |
