Two Hearts Cry
8 June, 2000
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Aching, my heart reaches out for yours
Just for a touch of your being
I feel the passion of the words
Read, but unspoken
Intoxicating, is the call to my heart
To feel what you feel
Dark, brilliant light
To soar but a moment with you
I feel as you do
As I cry to the moon
Touched by the stars in ones eyes
Yet only through words has my heart been reached
I hear you cry out underneath
Passion so deep felt
It cries out to be held
I'd touch, yet I fear it would speak
I picture you there, dreaming in dark
Hungering for more in your impassioned eyes
My heart feels and my spirit touched
I know you, though you are a stranger
I read on, of your heart
And my heart listens in
Feeling your strength
Feeling your weakness
Knowing your hurt and pain
Though I know you not
We will meet one day
If only to share a word
Your message is clear
Somewhere two hearts cry in the night
