A friendship good as gone
Betrayed by a lie
When something tears it
Say good-bye
Muddled thoughts caused by self inflicted pain
Responses not the norm
Not the process of the sane
I can no longer let it pass
Excuses no longer hold the water
They seemed to long ago
Made allowances
Now pale in the light
Who did you think you were
Crossing boundaries designed in friendship
Betrayal of trust is sacred
My heart now feels the lack
It's sad you may never realize
How the pain you caused will hurt
The lasting effect you have put upon
My trust thrown to the dirt
Our friendship, it is in the past
Nothing to salvage now
Without a trust, it can never be
Drug induced behavior, fine ...now your free

Friendships can let you down. Once the trust is gone there is nothing left to salvage. And your left with only the choice to let go. |
