A Muse
17 November, 2000
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
To think you feel your only a muse
When to me you are a true friend
Yes its true you inspire me
But I don't need you for that in the end
Passion comes in many forms
In love, in trust, in fear
And if you read my poems you'd see
All the things my heart hold's dear
I will admit you are among them
Though it's not always been the case
I wrote before I met you
Long before I ever dreamed your face
So if you wish to cheapen yourself
Into a role which you were not cast
I wish you to know your not the only muse
Nor will you be my last

Kristen () -- Tuesday, November 21 2000, 06:00 am I'd say you put him or her in his or her place, but with Becky's hallmark gentle temerity...I need to sleep...but I want to read the rest of your work I've missed...on the morn, on the morn...yawn...love you dearly my friend, K |
