Alone In The Dark
16 December, 2000
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Alone in the quiet
I sit thinking of the dragons
Demons of the dark threaten
Once again to overcome the peace
The heart cries out
Yet not a tear falls
Silence brings the rambling
Of the deep thinking poets words
Looking around there is nothing
But still the darkness comes
I wonder what life is coming to
And if I am of solid mind
All seems so quiet and still
Nothing seems too threating
Yet again my thoughts go to the darkness
and the fear it causes, remains
