Holiday Spirit
23 December, 2000
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
The holiday spirit is in the air
Running 'round and shopping without care
Lots of parties lots of cheer
Gifts for loved ones we hold dear
Goodies galore for girls and boys
So much stuff making lots of noise
Tons to taste it's such a treat
Musical carols sung in the street
Families together their memories share
Of holidays past told with flare
Gobs of gifts around the tree
Children's voices crying out with glee
Never forgetting the stories are told
Of all the miracles that came to unfold
From old days to new the tales hold strong
If only the holiday spirit lasted all the year long
