Spring's Reach
24 April, 2001
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
The spot of light upon my floor flickers
As the branchs of the trees dance
In the breeze outside my window
The birds chirp softly in the background
Delighted in the warmth of the sun
As spring blossoms fully
The dogwoods are in full blooming splendor
Flowering plants everywhere greet the day
The scent of fresh cut grass fills the air
Puffy cloud creatures float upon a sea of blue
As a streak of white stretches accross the sky
My mind drifts to those faraway places
Stepping outside I breath deeply of the spring air
Enjoying the warmth of the rays from the sun
For a moment all is right in the world
