Your Day
9 May, 2001
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
You've worked so hard for all these years
Following the goals you set
You've kept your focus on this day
Facing every challenge you met
Endless homework, papers and tests
Pressure formed all around
But you still made it through
And with your mind.. still sound
How many times my heart went out to you
When you studied for yet anther exam
There just are no words to tell
How proud of you I am
As I see you there before me
Standing in your cap and gown
A tear escapes my eye in pride
Today all your hard work is reknowned
