Time Arrives
2 February, 2004
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Finally the time draws near
Now only Two weeks, was a year
Nothing has changed; yet everything has
I feel the excitement grow
No more will I seek the ghost
that sleeps there on your pillow
Taking place of memory
will be the reality that now draws near
My Love I grow weary of waiting
It seems sometimes forever
And yet it's been like minutes past
Time stops, then speeds right by
Anxiously I await you now
Unsure of how I have changed
It's you who has gone through so much
I know now it's not much longer
-till I will again feel your touch
