To Touch A Dream
3 October, 2003
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Oh sweet dream so close yet far
May I lean close to know you
To spend but a moment of time
Embracing what could be
To touch you for myself
To feel that you are real
My emotions heightened
And my heart you steal
Could it have been of substance
For one moment was it true
Did I touch an Angel
The way that dreamers do
Oh sweet dream where are you now
Closing my eyes I try to grab hold
But your memory dissipates in my arms
Still I smile... for I once touched a dream
