With the TV guide

As another day rolls by
Sittin' here adrift in time
Watchin' Mamma killin' flies

It's a long Autumn day
Winter's on the way
I'm in a lazy haze
It feels like some kind of crime
Even the parakeet sighed
Watchin' Mamma killin' flies
With the TV guide

Mamma's killin' flies

And I'm just sittin' here
As another day rolls by
Sittin' here adrift in time
Watchin' Mamma killin' flies

Tomorrow is the fair
Animals will be there
But today is today
Tomorrow's another time
And at the moment I'm

Now I know that most "civilized" people use fly-swatters or chemical weapons when they're going after a wild common house fly, but that was not the case here! Believe it, or not. This is based on an actual event and none of the participants here-in are paid actors!! It is hard to sing this with a straight face, really!
