Telling Me To Go
20 October, 2003
Author: Ben Laney
Out beneath
The wild sky
On that
Never ending road
Where all
My sweetest dreams lie
My heart's telling me to go
I can't sit
Still for too long
It seems I
Was born to roll
Oh, I hear
A beautiful song
My heart's telling me to go
Far past
The highways bend
Out beyond
That rainbows end
I hear a voice calling,
Calling again, again and again
My heart's telling me to go
I've seen lots
Of dreams come true
I watched some
Go up in smoke
Still my dreaming's
Far from through
My heart's telling me to go
Far past
The highways bend
Out beyond
That rainbows end
I hear a voice calling,
Calling again, again and again
My heart's telling me to go...
My heart's telling me to go...
My heart's telling me to go...

Martin Vann (171.75.221.125) -- Tuesday, October 21 2003, 09:37 pm Ben, That is a long, long, road, and you know when your at its end, there will be a rainbow, lighting up a pot of gold, telling you, the truth is like the long, long, road. It never ends, it is the road, that is the rainbow, sheltered, pot of gold. MartinV |
Ben (67.123.245.208) -- Tuesday, October 21 2003, 09:56 pm Martin, that rainbows' end, my friend, disappears over and over again, but there's always another just past that highways' bend. I have found the treasure without measure that will never fade... It is the love which is shared with family and friends made along the way. This is the treasure to hold dear for it does not disappear when you draw near!! Thank you, AAA-MEE-GOGH, for your always poetic and always VERY encouraging words! Have I told you lately that I truely appreciate them? Well, I really do..more than you know! Hasta La Leggo My Eggo! Ha! Ha! Haaaaa! Thanks again! ***Ben |
