There are times I still think of you
Moments when I am alone
Memories of a different time and place
When close was okay
And moments were magical
Melting in your arms
As you held me close
Comfort in knowing it was real
And not an imaginary facade
Feeling the comfort in being desired
I look back now, maudlin
I wipe away a tear of rememberance
Overwhelmed by the adventure that once was our's
I bring it back to the surface from time to time
To feel again what I once felt
Knowing it is well in the past
Where it should always remain
Yet for some reason, there is still a place in my heart...
Somewhere between fantasy and reality
A magical time... when I still think of you
