Natural Touch
15 May, 2003
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
I wonder if you see the shades of color in the rainbow
Do you truly hear the whispers of the leaves upon a breeze
And If you truely feel the ocean spray, as the gentle mist touches your face
Do you see the shapes in clouds as they pass over your head
Could you reach out and grab the nearest star and give it to your friend
And if by chance tomorrow never comes, could you still remember the memories spent
Do you truly listen when the babbling brook rushes over a stone
Does it fill your heart with peacfulness as if a lulluby was sung
Can you hear the birds join in and sing with symphonic precision
I wonder if you are as I, seeing the joy in natures wonders
And if sometimes you feel the sparks when your spirit's touched
Or perhaps it's just a poets heart, that lets him see, hear and feel so much
