Technically Sound

author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Like switchs we turn on and off
who we choose to be
Are reactions to environment
simply programed responses we have freed?
The mind, a highly evolved machine
wired tight, information flows
And if a temper didn't flare
a damaged gasket would we blow?
Love "turns on" a need to continue
with birth, a network we grow
So in death, all is not lost
since backed up data we still know
It's a beautifully designed schematic
each a unique energy cache
And if we do not maintain ourselves
Even the best system will inevitably crash
