A New Day
20 April, 2003
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Ah! to be released of the past
Finally the torment ends
And a true beginning may unfold
No more does the haunting destroy
-the possibility of something new and brighter
The past is now where it belongs
Today begins a new day
A truer reality of peace
Contented in 'what is'
Sweet peace washes over me now
Relaxed for once of yesterdays burdens
I am now allowed to rest
Life now free of blinders
I look to the new day
And bathe in it's luster

Martin Vann (65.56.168.192) -- Monday, September 1 2003, 12:03 am Dreamer, Again, you pick up your pen, like, a heart surgeon's tool and cut to the essence of life, and with your skill, my life has been renewed. Yet, I can not forget my past, and use it as you, use your surgeon's knife, guiding me, to a new life. MartinV |
