Cannibals
15 October, 2003
Author: Ben Laney
If you grew up
With cannibals,
Would you do
What cannibals do?
Yes, if you grew up
With cannibals,
Would you hunt down
Your neighbors and cook 'em up
In a barbeque?
Hey, if you grew up
With cannibals,
Would you do
What cannibals do?
If you grew up
With Nazis,
Would you do
What Nazis do?
If you grew up
With Nazis,
Would you hunt down
Your neighbors and kill the ones
Who weren't Nazis, too?
If you grew up
With Nazis,
Would you do
What Nazis do?
And if you grew up
With circus clowns,
Would you do
What circus clowns do?
Yes, If you grew up
With circus clowns,
Would you roll town to town fallin' down
To get a laugh, or two?
Hey, if you grew up
With circus clowns,
Would you do
What circus clowns do?
Would you do
What circus clowns do?
Would you do
What Nazis do?
Would you do
What cannibals do?
------- Author's Notes -------
This was written for fun and as food for thought only! I was pondering about conditioning that we go through as human beings from birth. None of us choses the parents we are born to. However, isn't it true that when we get some education we can reach a point where we choose to be something different from what we grew up as? When I grow up, I want to to be a circus clown with a painted gypsy wagon! Then, I too would do what circus clowns do! Love and Peace, Ben |

Martin Vann (171.75.220.221) -- Saturday, October 18 2003, 04:39 pm Ben, Just a thought here; I'f I grew up with Ben, would I have his humorus pen, would I treat big rattlesnake, like a cute, little wiggly friend. Would I see life from its funny side, would I do the things that Ben does? Well, I didn't exactly, grow up with Ben, but if I had, I could have done worse! Thanks Ben, MartinV |
