My Cellphone Rang
5 March, 2003

vinebar

Everytime my cell phone rings
A little melody it plays
It wouldn't be so bad at all
But in my head it stays and stays

Even long well after
Five minutes sometimes ten
I still hear the little melody
I wish my ears I could defend

Maybe if it was a lower pitch
The continuing sound would cease
Then maybe that little melody
From my head, it would release

Cell phones never sleep.

Dreamer,

A real life poem about our way of life. Cell phones can be a real pain especially, when I bust my butt to find it, pick it up and say hell-O, and someone asks for Suzie, and I never heard of her.

Now, on the other hand, what if, it never rang at all?

Perhaps your right, all you need to do, is change your tune, I have been told that Many times!

Funny, Thanks
