Insomnium

author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
I spent my night visiting another's dreams
I noticed his were not the same as mine
Artists reaching deep from different angles
Seeing life rich with it's many tangles
These dreams of his intrigued me
As I looked deeper into his world
Not knowing where they'd take me next
Not knowing which direction his mind swirled
Deep inside his mind it seems
A kindred spirit I had found
Each of us expressing
Independent views of a world surround
And as my journey finished
It took me back where I had begun
I found a sort of sadness
That his dreams were all but done
Someday I hope to visit again
A place where his dreams abide
This surreal enchanting place I found
Where different dreams abound
