Working Too Hard To Be Young
13 October, 2002
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Noses in books
Scholastical chores
Building knowlege for future
For opening doors
But where is the living
Where is the light
Bright minds locked up
Humanities plight
No freedom of thought
Pushed down by professor
It has to be done this way
Learning oppressor
Study for more tests
On words, language, and rules
Keep working to study
It gives you the tools
learning from people
Is not found in books
But living and doing
And just having a look
Indiviual thinking
Is lost in the schools
While life passes them by
Education More Rules

Smiley (64.12.96.167) -- Saturday, October 19 2002, 01:55 pm Randy and sit in my shop talking about his day in college and he experiences the same as you like so how they want to appaud at themself and get credit for the gift God gave you. I have a writing by Randy from last week for one class about this same oppression. I'll have him send it in to post. I like his down to earth redneck gentle wisdom and I enjoy the long talks in the shop and am inspired with his perceptions. I will enlighten him this one. I liked yours/this one very much. |
