Life's Leash
8 October, 2002
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Wagging her tail
She walks faithfully alongside
Looking up to anticipate change
A companion unequalled
Friend to the end
Unconditional love despite any past deed
Happy she is, just to be with me
Sharing our moments of time
Two friends we are in stride
To find joy in something so simple
Is what really sets you free
Ah, It's a dogs life indeed
