Day In, Day Out
1 October, 2002
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Day in, day out, repeat
The white noise of reality
as time passes by
Forever seems the rut
Of life's responsibilities
A journey to nowhere
To tolerate a life
made up of inconsequential activities
too much, yet nothing to do
Closing my eyes once again to sleep
Before starting a new day of sameness
Where there's still hope for a change
