Bragging Rights
16 June, 2002
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Closing out what others wanted
You limited yourself from learning
You missed enjoying all that was
No adventure to your yearning
As you looked hard for political agendas
You only found what you wanted to
You didn't see all there really was
The life of the people, the real jewel
Spending was what you set out to do
Blind to what was there offered free
So many things you will now share as opinions
Of things never really truely seen
Only interested in commercial gains
Spending money like there was no tomorrow
Did you really gain in adventure
Your great loss is such a sorrow
