In The Shadows
16 June, 2002
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Shadows of the past
Moving through the night
Rewalking the echos of misunderstanding
You See them in the edges
Shaking them off as unseen
But they are there, in the corners..watching
Sometimes if you listen
Opening up your mind
You can hear their words, misty and barely heard
Maybe its just a scent
That for some reason doesn't belong
Perfume, flower or something else unknown
How many times we just ignore
Their signs along the way
Closed, busied minds, too hurried along the way
