Lack Of Compassion
4 March, 2002
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)

vinebar

Where is your compassion?
Tell me where did it go
You do not care for another's pain
No caring do you show

What happened to make you act like this?
You were not brought up this way
We gave you love and tenderness
Where did you go astray?

Maybe it's a missing gene
Or a chromosome not quite right
Seratonin level is slightly off
Or when you hit your head one night

No matter what the case
You could at least make a try
To be patient for a little while
And about yourself, don't cry
