Ship Of Dreams
2 February, 2002
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
I stand here on deck in the moonlight
Gazing out at the sapphire and diamond sea
Wondering what you are doing now
Wonder if you are thinking of me
I feel the night mist upon my face
The gentle breeze blows through my hair
I stand here feeling sort of lonely
Dreaming my love faraway, to here
I close my eyes and breathe deep
My lungs fill with the seawater in the air
I quietly blow a kiss towards the moonlight
For it to deliver to you with care
For I am awake, walking
You in your slumber, softly snore
I know the moon will deliver the kiss
To my beloved faraway amoré
