Ah, Sweet Child
9 March, 2002

I look to you
Ah, sweet child
Such wisdom in your eyes
Love and Play in your world of pretend
Nothing yet do you despise

With trusting naiveté
You see no evil
With curious nature you learn
You love unconditionally
No worries plague you with concerns

So I look to you
Ah, sweet child
And all that you can teach me
To love and trust without judgment
And how playing can be the key

if a child learns??

A lovely poem wishing I could go back in time when my children were so young they were always tucked in.
