Yesterdays of ago seemed so bleak
Dread shared my every dream
I could never see how any good could come
Of the strange life, I felt I led
But as I grow I see things different
Each challenge made me strong
Even though for a while I felt weak
Those past days so dark are now gone
I survived all the things I thought I couldn't
I learned many lessons on the way
Now I'm content with how things are turning out
And Life grows brighter each day
