The Ghosts Still Haunt
21 June, 2001
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
When the darkness seeks to invade
The memories hold a life of their own
Chilling the entity tries to take over
The past revisits
Like a shimmering of fire light
The loneliness seeks to speak once more
My heart is filled with the fightening remenants
Of innocence lost
And in these reflections of light
The Truth remains clear of adversity
Safe from the world of afflicted nights
Where all the dreams died
Soon the visions of them fade
Back to the torrid obscurity
Where the shadows have a life of their own
There.. the ghosts still haunt
