To Be Shared
24 April, 2004
Author: Clive B Ringshall
As tight as can be you’re beauty is hidden,
Only your outer shell shows it self to the world beyond,
This can not deceive to others you’re true self,
I’ve known you for three years now,
I’ve seen you open and become so bright,
I’ve seen you close to protect from the cold,
No matter how you appear to others this is how I see,
Your beautiful this you know,
Putting many others to shame, you do this well
You protect yourself from harm,
If you could talk you’d have a tongue that could cut,
Like a true model your movements are all planed,
You’re fragrance is so enticing,
Like the beauty you hold; it must be shared,
To hold such beauty for only one must be a crime,
So this I’ll do and do for you,
I’ll take you by the stem to cut you free,
You’re colour will shine, you’re fragrance will last,
As I find a vase to reflect who you are,
The rose I grow every year.

Meridian (205.188.116.200) -- Sunday, April 25 2004, 05:53 pm Hello Clive! Nature is breathtaking, and such a lovely sight to look at...It can remind you of all sorts of beautiful things...Clouds, which sometimes take the form of hot mashed potatoes, and the sun pours over into it like hot butter...The grass, which sometimes looks like a painting, with a stroke of an artists paintbrush----as well as the lovely canvas in the sky!! I love your insight on nature...The way you can actually see the beauty of it, and compare it to something------so expressful!! Delightful poem "poetic genius", on nature entitled, "To Be Shared"!!
