Always On My Mind
24 April, 2004
Author: Charmaine
It’s a dreary Saturday afternoon,
And I’m sitting here alone.
Staring into my computer screen,
Waiting for you to come online.
I miss you so very much,
And I really want to talk to you.
I know you’re out there having fun,
And I wish I was there with you.
I’m trying hard to study,
To get you off my mind.
But as soon as I try to concentrate,
My mind wanders off instinctively.
You’re on my mind,
More often then you know.
And there’s not a day that goes by,
Without me missing you.
I wish things could be as before,
Where we’ll do things as a couple.
And I’ll know the joys and woes you go through,
And to share all of these feelings with you.

Meridian (205.188.116.200) -- Sunday, April 25 2004, 06:01 pm Excuse me Charmaine, while I go grab a few kleenexes-----(I'm back)--that was truly, deep-down-to-the-core touching! "Always on My Mind" also looks like you could put a tune to your poem, and make a song out of it!! Nice composed lyrics Charmaine!! I hope your needs will be fulfilled, and most of all, I hope that they find this poetic site, and click into your name, Charmaine, and read your lovely dedication, in the reminiscing category, entitled, "Always on My Mind"...Great one Charmaine!
