Reflections From The Sea
24 April, 2004
Author: ShyHeart
Two hearts, drifting, in an empty sea
So far away, from that little stream
That once sheltered, both their hearts
Two hearts, that once, shared a single beat
I see, you as we used to be, two hearts, with just one beat
How did this ever start, what happened, to our heart
Still, I share all that I am, with all, that you shared with me
When we had, just one heart, what happened, to you and me
Two hearts, two beats now, drifting independently, searching for
The meaning of what they shared before, two hearts, got
Lost, in all the world’s confusion, and torn by its temptation
Where is that little stream, who’s water ran, so pure and clean
“Now, I See, Reflections From The Sea”

About how two hearts are now broken, and are trying to find their way back, from whence they started...I hope each half (of heart) come together again as one! Great poem on love entitled, "Refelctions From the Sea"!! Meridian |

Martin Vann (4.244.87.243) -- Monday, May 10 2004, 02:49 pm Terrie, Tricia, Meridian, Barb; True love, always seems to have a humble and shy start, like the evening's first star, trying to reach a heart, shy at first, then burning bright. Seems the best is always above us, then when we bring it into our world, we end of just a memory, with star-dust in our hearts. Thank You, MartinV |
