Today Is Different by Clive B Ringshall

Today I lay looking at you,
Talking to you we were so calm,
Talked about our past and present,
Talked about how our love had grown,
Many times we’d passed always just good friends,
You’ve held my hand as I’ve walked with you,
Today is different feelings have grown,
We’ve talked so much and laughed a lot,
Held each other all warm inside,
Today we touched like never before,
Today we kissed for real this time,
I touched your skin with gentle hands,
You held me tight, tighter than before,
It’s funny how I can hear you speak,
You’re lips aren’t moving so what’s this I hear,
You’re minds in thought and I now understand,
Our eyes can see all in our souls,
I’m glad for today it was our time,
I feel complete knowing we now are one,
Tomorrow will bring another day bright,
I’ll come back here and meet you then.

You've outdid yourself on this one CBR a.k.a
Mr. Clive B. Ringshall! Your poems just keep getting better and better every time I read them!!! You have so much depth in your poetry, that, you can almost see what you write in action....Especially lines 10-14....Touching, kissing, and holding with gentle hands....
When you find love; the person who completes you; the one who's flesh of your flesh and bone of your bone...... The one who shapes and molds you into what you become....love.....what a feeling!! You must be excited Clive!! "Today Is Different" was a geniune poem!!! Hooray for Mr. Ringshall!!
