Well, somebody said
The Bop is back
I said check your head
For leaks and cracks
They were Boppin'
Before you were born
And kids will be Boppin'
When you're long, long gone

Bop, Bo Bop...Bop, Bop Boppin'
Jump up, jump up Like popcorn poppin'
I think we all oughtta be Boppin' more often
Bop, Bo Bop...Bop, Bop Boppin'

Say, Money-Back Sam
Is in a rut
Hey, give him a hand
And spank his butt
I can see his problem
I know what's wrong
Sam ain't been Boppin'
For much too long

Bop, Bo Bop...Bop, Bop Boppin'
Jump up, jump up Like popcorn poppin'
I think we all oughtta be Boppin' more often
Bop, Bo Bop...Bop, Bop Boppin'

Now, there is a train
That runs through town
It's a fast movin' freight
It don't slow down
Below the crossing
Casey blows that horn
And the Hobos start Boppin'
Between the rows of corn

Bop, Bo Bop...Bop, Bop Boppin'
Jump up, jump up Like popcorn poppin'
I think we all oughtta be Boppin' more often
Bop, Bo Bop...Bop, Bop Boppin'

Now my wheels are broken down
But I don't care
I'll make it to town
Stick my thumb in the air
They'll all be stoppin'
"Cause I made a sign
It says, Goin' Boppin'
Get me down the line

Bop, Bo Bop...Bop, Bop Boppin'
Jump up, jump up Like popcorn poppin'
I think we all oughtta be Boppin' more often
Bop, Bo Bop...Bop, Bop Boppin'

Well, some TV preacher said
Boppin' is wrong
I guess he never read
The book he preaches from
Back in the garden
It says Adam and Eve
Did some Boppin'
Without any leaves

Bop, Bo Bop...Bop, Bop Boppin'
Jump up, jump up Like popcorn poppin'
I think we all oughtta be Boppin' more often
Bop, Bo Bop...Bop, Bop Boppin'

Be Bop A Lu-La, How-a-Lou Ya!

Mr. Ben,

This reminds me of when, I played lead guitar with none other than..., Bee Bumble & The Sting Rays, whoa, do I miss those days. Now, as far as Adam & Eve, had they maintained those leaves, there would be NO Poems from Ben, for us to read.

So, Thank you Adam and Thank you Eve, you gave Ben a one-celled brain, but, wow, can he write and, he keeps it clean!

P.S.
Can hardly wait to read lady T's reply!

You're crazy, crazy, crazy!!! YOU know what's amazing, Dad? No matter how cute, funny, and silly you're writing gets, I still tear up when I read it! Why is that? I'm a big cry baby is why! Must have got that from mom.
