Imagination

You’re there in a hidden town,
A place that’s built for many to live,
Roads so busy, people in a rush,
Give time to another,
Even a smile it could simply be,
Even though we’re far apart,
You’re in my thoughts my dreams come true,
I see its cold outside as mist rolls in from the shore,
A fire place raging it’s flames,
Heat radiating across the room,
Candles for light so soothing to the soul,
Our shadows flicker against the wall,
Yes you’re with me in the warm,
Come sit on this rug with me,
It was meant to be this way you see,
We knew each other before this day,
Never did see another so far away,
So now we’ll talk and together we’ll grow,
Our minds can do this anywhere,
So anytime your lonely my friend,
Call me in your thoughts,
I’ll come running to be with you.

Meridian (205.188.116.142) -- Tuesday, April 27 2004, 04:47 pm Good morning to ya Clive!! You always have a powerful imagination!! So vivid, bright, and colorful!! I love this poem on friendship, and even though you can't see them, just to hear from them means like you've known them for a long time. The relationship/friendship begins to grow, and prosper. This reminds me of fresh crops planted on good, moist soil. How well the flowers bloom after the seed has been planted! What a joyous topic CBR a.k.a Mr. Clive B. Ringshall!!! Have yourself a terrific day, like I am! lol! (SMILE CLIVE) Meridian |
