Final Tear

Sitting in his chair, as he cupped his head
His arm spelled a word, throbbing as it bled
It said, "I Hate Me," why? it wasn't clear
Cracks ran down the wall, more formed every year
He placed his blade aside, it glistened in the light
He knew what he wanted, to do late that night
Would he have the strength? Would he have the will?
Other than his heart, he sat very still

He thought of all his pain, he thought of all his trust
He knows he was always, viewed with such disgust
He knows his life is ending, he knows his life was spent
He knows it was wasted, he knows what it meant
He knows they wouldn't miss, if he went away
He can always tell, each time they betray
He wept for hours, his face started to swell
He slit his neck wide open, his final tear then fell

hmmm...

LinzAy, wow, you hit another one, two days in a row! Does this mean you have the internet finally? Of course not, you're at a friend's house. Hmm... I might give you a call tonight... but there's no guarantee you'd be there (we both know why).

Rayray, thanks for the comment... I'm glad you read my stuff a lot. And no comment is ever necessary if you feel uncomfortable doing so. I appreciate you giving any of my writings even a 10 second look... I hope you got something out of them...

Terrie, thanks again... I have one question though, what's the "*" by your name for?

Rubyd, I appreciate it. I like catching people off guard too...
