Looking Out My Window
3 May, 2004
Author: ShyHeart
Looking out my window, watching snow flakes, on tender wings
Drifting down, like words that have been spoken, then, turned cold,
Falling to the ground, a gentle breeze, guided them, through their dance
Of love, bringing them from high above, and when their passion died, every
Sound of every word, disappeared, no longer with, a song to sing

LinzAy (4.244.171.229) -- Tuesday, May 4 2004, 03:36 pm LinzAy, Thanks for the bootiful review. Althought the words read as if, love has gone, but its really, my thoughts about finding love and reminding myself what can happen, if, you don't take care of it. Thanks LinzAy. MartinV |
Meridian (205.188.116.200) -- Tuesday, May 4 2004, 06:21 pm Mr. Vann, Mr. Vann! You've outdone yourself again!! Wonderful comparison of the weather to love lost or love ending!!! The way you talk about nature (snow flakes) as if it were human....Taking things and bringing them to life, is very creative......and I enjoyed the poem!! WAY TO GO MARTIN VANN! Meridian |
Martin V (4.244.171.229) -- Tuesday, May 4 2004, 08:13 pm Meridian & LinzAy; The other night, I heard Brooks & Dunn, sing, "Neon Moon," one should read this poem, to that tune. Now you know, I offer nothing original, I steal from my heart when it hears such a tune, as Neon Moon. Both of you read my poems, must be your heart and not my words. As you may recall, there is another heart, who reads my works as you do. Hope to hear from her soon, and hope she, like you, will share, my Neon Moon. Thank you Meridian and LinzAy. |
