In The Deep, Silent Night

Out in the desert
When the moon shines bright
All kinds of creatures
Come out in the night
Black tarantulas
Do the twilight stroll
Creeping scorpions
Well.....they do-sey doe!

The kangaroo rats
Really start hoppin'
And there's no stoppin'
Them when they get boppin'
You ought to see it,
It's a crazy sight
Once they get movin'
Well,,,,,they're groovin' all night

Some say the desert
Is barren and dry
But what I tell you,
I've seen with my own eyes
In the deep, silent night
In the deep, silent night
In the deep, silent night
The desert.....comes alive!

The old sidewinder
Still knows how to twist
And Ms Black Widow
Is hungry for a kiss
Why don't you come out
And check out the show
You don't need tickets
Just.....a fearless soul

Some say the desert
Is barren and dry
But what I tell you
I have seen with my own eyes
In the deep, silent night
In the deep, silent night
In the deep, silent night
The desert.....comes alive

All those creatures out there, Leah, are...

All those creatures out there, Leah, are indeed very interesting. This one was inspired by the land in New Mexico where I grew up. Thank you for your words my Canadian friend. I am glad it made you laugh, and that you like it! Peas And Hominy, Ben
