These feet have been weighed with anchors
That cannot be lifted so easily
This life has become too perfect
For these soiled hands to touch
My heart shall not recover
Until he comes once more so sleekly
And with that my heart wishes
So much

I couldn't really think of a name for this.. I guess it was just what was on my mind at the time. |

Meridian (205.188.116.200) -- Tuesday, May 4 2004, 07:04 pm Hello Scorpio! I can envision to anvils on the souls or on the top of your feet....Burdened down by the pressures of this world....Unable to find your way through the "lost memories"... The human heart should be treated with care shouldn't it Scorpio? I hope the weight will release, and for you to regain your strength, that unexpectedly slipped away... I loved it therally......all the way through... Have fun and smile Scorpio! Meridian |
Scorpio (67.162.95.179) -- Tuesday, May 4 2004, 09:45 pm This poem doesn't only represent me, but for those who have endured the same. Life can't be helped, and sh*t happens. Sometimes, worse than others, but these things we try to overcome and despite how hard it is, to recover, we still do. These lost memories of mine are untold and after so long, I still try to recover, but I feel I am making progress. Thank you so much for your comment! Keep your spirits high and I shall smile! |
