Melody On Wings

A cool breeze brushes my face
softly kissing my cheek
and on its wings floats a melody
The melody that she sings
The song is soft and gentle
No louder than a whisper
It is the distant voice of an angel
The angel of my heart
She sings of us
Of what we always will be
Of the tale of our hearts
Together forever intertwined
As the song is ending
She softly kisses my cheek
Tells me to remember her
To remember that we will always be
Together
