Mockingbird Song
8 September, 2003
Author: Ben Laney
The sun is out
And a gentle breeze
Is blowing
I see some clouds
But I know they're
Just going by...in the sky
Now, what's that I hear?
I've got to stop
And listen to it
So sweet in my ears
The lovely sound
Of music nearby...so nearby
Sing, sing
Little mockingbird
Sing a
Little song for me
Sing, sing
little mockingbird
A mockingbird melody
Sing, sing
Little mockingbird
Way up high
In your tree.....
Sing, sing
Little mockingbird
Sing a little,
Sing a little,
Sing a little
Mockingbird song for me
I've got some things
That I am so
Thankful for
And the song you sing
Just made me think
Of one thing more...for sure
Yes, I can hear
Your song in the air
Riding the breeze
So strong and clear
As if you are there
Just for me...just for me
Sing, sing
Little mockingbird
Sing a
Little song for me
Sing, sing
little mockingbird
A mockingbird melody
Sing, sing
Little mockingbird
Way up high
In your tree.....
Sing, sing
Little mockingbird
Sing a little,
Sing a little,
Sing a little
Mockingbird song for me
