Mockingbird
10 May, 2004
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
I have arrived
to a new place
I sit and listen
as the mockingbird sings
It's rather warm
with a cooling breeze
I sit and watch
as the mockingbird sings
So many songs
this little bird knows
I sit in recognition
as the mockingbird sings
------- Author's Notes -------
How many sounds one little bird can imitate. This one can even do a siren.. Amazing |

MartinV (4.244.174.51) -- Tuesday, May 11 2004, 06:58 pm Dreamer, I hear the song of life, and as I follow the sound, the world becomes new again, I see it in every turn, a view, I have never known. I hope I will be here, long enough, to the all of the Mocking bird's song. MartinV |
