Two Precious Gems....
9 May, 2004
Author: Terrie*
you are both incredible
my connection upstairs
must really really love me
what else could explain
for the blessings that I've gained?
as I gave you my love
you both never ask for much
there were many times
when you both were growing up
away many hours from home I had to be
to make a life for the both of you and me
momentarily perhaps you both
saw a tiny glimpse of me
as I was but asleep
you both have gotten older
and yet we still remain
closer than ever before
I continue to give
that same love to you
that you are still giving me
every day our love continues to grow
as we put one another first
in this life that we live and give
how much prouder can a mother be
being honored on her own day
if it wasn't for the two of you
Mothers day would be just another day
Because of the love
that your dad and I shared
you both made
it possible fo me to share
and honor that role
as "MOM"
So in your honor
for today
Thank you for making me a mom...
more than words
could ever possibly express...
I want to say..
I love you both...

And great job Miss Terrie, terrie for that expressful poem! Makes one weep tears of joy, just knowing that you have children that will stand behind you faithfully all the way..... Inspite of the circumstances.... They always have your back! I'm proud of you and the Ross family! Have fun Terrie! Smile, Meridian |
